Apache Shores goes back to the early days of lake development, and it shows in the layout. Streets wind through wooded lots, lots vary in size, and the homes span several decades of building. The neighborhood is large, one of the bigger ones around the lake, though the exact home count is not published. Many houses run 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft, with prices from $480K to $1.1M.
The neighborhood has its own property owners association, a Lake Austin park with a boat ramp, and zoning into Lake Travis ISD. Families stay a long time here, and many owners have renovated and added on over the years.
What Apache Shores windows deal with
Mature trees are the story. Oak and cedar shade the glass, which is nice in July but brings spider webs, leaf litter, sap and pollen straight onto screens and window tracks. Cedar pollen peaks from December to February, and live oak pollen follows in March and April. Tracks fill with debris that a normal wash never touches.
Homes closer to the water also pick up hard mineral spots from mist and from sprinklers. Older homes may carry years of spotting on lower panes. We can clean screens at $5 each and tracks at $5, and we remove hard water spots at $10 per pane.

My screens fill with webs and leaves. Can you handle that?
Yes. Screen cleaning is $5 per screen, with full screens at $10 and solar screens at $15. Tracks are $5. Tree heavy lots like many in Apache Shores benefit from this every visit, and plans include one free screen cleaning a year.
Do you need an okay from the property owners association?
Window cleaning is routine upkeep and we do not post signs or leave equipment out. Check your own association documents if you plan exterior work beyond cleaning. For windows, you just text us and we schedule.
Are steep driveways a problem?
Usually not. We use water fed poles from the ground, so no ladders have to be set on slopes. If parking the truck is tight, send a photo with your text and we will plan the approach.
How often should wooded lot homes be cleaned?
Many tree covered homes do well on a quarterly or triannual schedule. Triannual is 15% off and includes hard water removal on up to 5 windows each visit. Twice a Year is 10% off if you want something lighter.
Do you clean the inside too?
Yes. Cleaning the inside as well puts it at $15 per window. Interior glass is cleaned by hand with squeegees, and we lay drop cloths. For two story interiors we use ladders with cotton covers so frames and trim stay unmarked.
