What Falconhead homes are like

Falconhead grew up around Falconhead Golf Club, a public fee course, and the first homes went in during the early 2000s. There are five sections and roughly a thousand homes. Sizes run wide, from 1,300 square feet up to about 6,200, and lots go from a quarter acre to a full acre. Plenty of them back onto a fairway or the greenbelt. Part of the community is gated and part is open, so the first question on any job is whether we need a code. Most houses wear stucco, Hill Country limestone, or both on the same wall.

What Falconhead windows deal with

Golf course irrigation is the big one. Fairway sprinklers throw hard water onto back walls and patio doors, and when it dries it leaves white mineral spots. Left alone for a few seasons those spots can etch into the glass and stop coming off with a normal wash. Add cedar pollen from December to February and live oak pollen in March and April, and a back wall that looked fine in the morning is hazy by lunch. Stucco and limestone need their own care. We never pressure wash limestone. The 12V soft wash system lets us lift the green film and dust off those walls without driving water into the stone or the joints. Window tracks on the golf side collect grass clippings and webs, and we clean them for $5 a track.
