What The District is like

The District at Rough Hollow is described as the newest part of the community, with modern architecture. Homes run about $800K to $1.5M. No gate blocks the way here, and the Rough Hollow HOA is the association.

Modern homes tend to use clean lines, flat roofs or low pitch roofs, and large glass. That makes the glass the main feature of the house. Because it is the newest section, some lots are still being finished, so the glass can pick up dust again quickly.

What District windows deal with

New homes bring construction dust and builder residue. Large panes show every smear, so how the glass dries matters. Because the section is new, landscaping and irrigation are fresh and the sprinklers spray the base of the walls.

Tall fixed panes, corner glass and floor to ceiling windows are common. Black frames show dust and water spots plainly. Pure water leaves no spots on them. Large sliders on modern designs have wide tracks, and those catch grit that needs a brush, not just a wipe.

How we work The District

We plan the order of the house, working the biggest panes first with poles from the ground. Interior glass is hand squeegeed, with cotton covered ladders where needed. The District is close to Arroyo Divide and Highland Terrace for routing.

A 3,800 sq ft modern home is about $380 outside, taking about three hours, and inside adds two hours. We treat hard water spots at $10 a pane when needed, and we send quotes by text during business hours.

The District questions

Why do modern homes show dirt more?

Large clear panes show every mark, and dark frames show dust. Clean glass makes the home look sharper.

Do you clean floor to ceiling windows?

Yes. Poles reach upper glass from the ground, and the inside is cleaned by hand.

Do you work on new construction?

Yes, once the builder is done. We remove residue gently.

Can I set up a plan?

Yes. Our Clean Windows Club plans take 10% to 20% off each visit.

How soon after move in should I clean?

Once painting, landscaping and finish work are done. Then it is easiest to remove residue before it bakes on. Text us and we will explain what we would do.

Do you do pole work on flat roof homes?

Yes. Poles work from the ground to reach upper windows, so we do not need to get on the roof.
