What Waters Edge is like
Waters Edge is a smaller section of Rough Hollow for people who want the lake nearby without paying for a waterfront lot. Homes here are priced from about $2M to $2.9M. Rough Hollow's stucco and stone look carries through here, and the draw is being close to Lake Travis rather than sitting on the water.
The section is not gated, and it falls under the Rough Hollow HOA only, so there is no extra sub association to coordinate with. Parking a truck out front is usually easy.
What Waters Edge windows deal with
Lake spray reaches the first row less than the shoreline, but sprinkler overspray is the bigger enemy. Well kept lawns mean irrigation heads aim right at the lower glass, and that water is hard, so it leaves white rings that get worse each week it sits. We treat spotted panes at $10 each.
Porches and entries here also catch construction dust from the lots still opening in Rough Hollow, plus spider webs under the eaves. Interior hand cleaning at $15 a window combined with exterior takes care of the whole house.

Not directly. The homes are lake adjacent with views, and prices sit below full waterfront sections. The glass still catches lake mist when the wind is right.
What causes the white rings at the bottom of my windows?
Sprinkler water. It is hard, and every cycle leaves minerals on the lowest panes. A hard water removal visit clears it, and adjusting your sprinkler heads away from the glass helps.
Do you do the screens too?

How long does a visit take?
