Window cleaning in The Point waterfront glass, clear every time.

What The Point is like

The Point is a short run of waterfront homesites on Lake Travis, and it is often named as the most sought after address in Rough Hollow. Prices start around $2M. It is not gated, which makes access simple. The section is small, so you are looking at a handful of custom homes rather than a long street of similar plans.

With homesites on the water, the main glass generally faces the lake. Expect larger windows and sliders on the water side, and we plan the visit around that elevation.

What The Point windows deal with

Wet air and open water make this the spottiest section for glass. Every breeze off the lake carries mist, and wind on the open water adds more. Water that dries on a pane leaves hard water spots, and a few seasons of that leaves a haze. Afternoon sun hits the west side and shows each streak.

Pollen is another factor. Cedar pollen runs December to February and live oak pollen from March to April, and both coat the screens and tracks. We clean screens at $5 each and tracks at $5, and hard water removal is $10 a pane for anything stubborn.

How we work The Point

Because the section is small, we usually pair it with a visit in nearby Waters Edge or Lakeside on the same morning, which keeps travel low. Rough Hollow HOA rules and a sub association both apply, so we keep equipment off the street and do not block driveways. Soft wash is the right choice for stucco and any limestone here.

A 5,000 sq ft waterfront home is about $500 for exterior windows, and the visit takes around four hours. Inside and out is $15 a window. Text for a quote and you will usually hear back inside the hour.
