What Overlook homes are like

Overlook is one of the smaller sections of River Place, the master planned community off RM 2222 on the north shore of Lake Austin. The name tells you the point of it. Homes sit on higher ground and are built to look out over the hills and canyon below. Prices run about $900K to $1.5M, so these are well kept family homes rather than sprawling estates. Streets climb and curve the way River Place streets do, with live oak, Ashe juniper and cedar close to the lots. Houses are mostly stucco and stone with a lot of glass on the back, because the back is where the view is.
